Return Policy


If you are not satisfied with a product you purchased at RobotBuy, or for whatever reason, it is possible to return it for refund within 7 days of receipt (30 days for an exchange). Shipping and handling fees are not refundable.

All returns require prior authorization by RobotBuy. Please send us your request by email at
customerservice@robotbuy.ca
and we will issue you a Return Authorization Number. ALL merchandise returned must be returned with a completed RMA form. Any merchandise returned without a completed RMA form will be rejected. All returns will be evaluated for eligibility as promptly as possible and the customer will be notified of the result.

If a return is a result of our error we must be contacted within 10 days of the receipt. The customer will only be responsible for paying the return shipping cost for defective or otherwise returned merchandise. All original equipment, components, manuals, cables, documents, etc. must be returned with the product. Opened merchandise may be returned, upon our approval, within 10 days of the receipt.

Opened merchandise will be considered used and a 20% restocking fee will be applied per our discretion. All merchandise must be returned in a resalable condition with the original packaging, documents, cables, accessories, etc. Reimbursement will be denied for any products which do not conform to the abovementioned conditions.

RobotBuy accepts returns on all defective merchandise within 10 days of the receipt. Customers can get a full-credit product exchange. Items returned due to customer error will be subjected to a 20% restocking charge. In the RMA form, please include a detailed written description of the failure and how to replicate the problem. If no problem can be found, the customer will be contacted and given the choice of having the merchandise returned to them, or returning the merchandise which will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Additional fees may be assessed for missing hardware.

Customers need to cover the shipping cost of returning the product. Cleaning fees (30$) may also be charged if a domestic robot is returned without proper cleaning. Restocking fees of 30% will be charged on special order products only.

Any assembled or partially assembled kits; any software that has been opened are non-returnable. For international customers outside of Canada and USA, we do not accept any returns of purchased products.
