Controlling Wheeled Robots
This radio can control H-bridge motor controllers such as the Hitec SP-560, HFX-R, or the Vantec RET-411H by plugging them in directly. Controlling differential steered vehicles from one joystick is pretty easy.
Controlling Walking Robots
This equipment was designed to remotely control the position of the output shafts of four servo motors. The four motors follow the position of the joystick as it is moved about in real time. The transmitter reads the position of the joysticks and converts them into pulses, then transmits them sequentially to the receiver. The receiver then separates the pulses and routes them to the proper servo output channels. The servo motors respond to these varying pulses to produce the appropriate movements.
